As this is my first post, on my first blog, I am unsure of how to begin this form of expression.
It seems that for years I have been “blogging”, I believe, on social networks (mostly Facebook). I would post, or in Facebook lingo, ‘share’ my interests with my family and friends; whether it be music, movies, news, interesting articles, and of course my personal updates (photographs, opinions, and current events).
I have always wondered what the big deal was about blogs. I thought, “Well, I do have Facebook. Why would I need a blog?”
But here I am, the year is 2013, and I am graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication and Media Studies in two months. This is my first attempt at creating a digital reserve of what I have learned, enjoyed, been fascinated with, and a collection of memories I plan to collect along the coming years.
Just recently I wrote a list of 101 things to do in 1001 days. Among that seemingly extensive list of goals, was number 66, ‘Start a Blog’.
And this is where I begin.
